The Centerport Fire Department is proud to present their first annual Country Concert and BBQ Cook-Off on Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 11am – 5pm at Centerport Beach. The concert features live music by the award winning Joe Bayer Band, one of the nation’s top rated Country Music Bands. Joe Bayer was just presented with the “Entertainer of the Year” and “Touring Band of the Year” awards by Country Blast Radio in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday night. Barbecue Cook-Off teams will be competing for bragging rights on the best chicken, ribs and beef. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a day of great music, line dancing and delicious food favorites cooked by Centerport firefighters. Among the food available will be hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, pulled pork, smoked sausage, roasted corn, ice cream and beverages. Admission for the day’s event is $5.00 per person. Tickets can also be purchased in advance from any member of the Centerport Fire Department. Centerport Beach is located at the end of Little Neck Road in Centerport.
