The public is invited to honor our veterans at Huntington Town Hall, Sunday, May 26, 2019, at 9:00 AM on Huntington Veterans Plaza, 100 Main Street, Huntington, in commemoration of Memorial Day. Wreaths will be placed at the World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, and Women’s Veteran Monument and to honor our troops in the Middle East; Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The Church of Saint Patrick’s Adult Chorale & Children’s Choir will perform patriotic songs. On May 24th, the Town of Huntington Senior Center will commemorate Memorial Day with a Color Guard, St. Anthony’s Celtic Friars Pipe Band, cake, DJ Bob and many of our senior veterans will wear their military hats or uniform shirts. We will also have a guest speaker, Retired Marine Lance Corporal Ken Lavoie.
